Bensons for Beds
Husband and I decided we were going to buy a mattress. We were only looking around, but stumbled upon an amazing sale!
All the beds on the shop floor were 50% off! They had some lovely beds and we fell in love with a divan. The only problem , it was a king size bed.
We thought it would be fine, paid in full and ordered the delivery to be the next day. However, when we got home it was obvious that the bed wouldn’t fit in the bedroom.
First thing in the morning, I rang up to say that we wouldn’t be able to continue with our order, and we were very disappointed as the bed was lovely. The customer service I received at this point was atrocious!
I was sighed at repeatedly and told that I was very inconvenient as they had already packed up the bed for delivery. Now, I understand it’s a bit annoying, my husband and I were just as disappointed, but there was no need to be so rude.
When we showed up to the store to have the cost of the bed refunded, the gentleman at the desk didn’t greet us or even acknowledge us, he simply typed the refund into the card machine and handed us the receipt.
It is such a shame as we were prepared to buy a double mattress or bed from them, but with their rudeness we just left the store with nothing.
Good customer service costs nothing, regardless of how miffed you are!
